Local Area
Steeped in the history of great Scottish heroes, this is also Burns Country - head to the Burns National Heritage Park to see the little thatched 'But and Ben’ where Scotland’s national bard was born and brought up. The Museum of Ayrshire Country Life and Costume at Dalgarven Mill also makes a fascinating trip as does magnificent Culzean Castle. Designed by Robert Adams, it sits within glorious grounds on a cliff top overlooking the Clyde.Along the coast, and within easy reach of our holiday parks in Ayrshire, you’ll find glorious sandy beaches and delightful seaside towns and villages to visit, including Ayr, birthplace of Robert the Bruce, and the pretty Victorian resort of Largs, from where you can take a ferry to explore the lovely Isle of Arran. And don’t forget, it’s easy to spend a day shopping and enjoying the sights in Glasgow.

I would recommend Sundrum Castle as everything was spot on!! Excellent for a family holiday. The 'Allstars' (entertainment staff) were the best I've seen, very friendly and fantastic with my daughter - they really made her experience a fabulous one. But as with every holiday park it takes the entire team to make the park be as good as it, is so thank you to the whole team at Sundrum Castle for making our holiday a great one. Not a single complaint!! We even got good weather! 5* and A++++ |

I would recommend this park as a great base to explore Scotland, then return to some friendly and welcoming sevice. Enjoy the warm pool while the kids have fun on the flumes. The entertainment was lovely and the kids enjoyed the amusements and bowling. The caravan was great with a full size fridge and freezer, well fitted kitchen, two bathrooms, and even in October was lovely and warm. |

I thoroughly had a great week at Sundrum Castle. I had 6 children with me ranging from 6 - 14 years and there was plenty of entertainment for them all, they had a great time and already want me to rebook for next year. |
