    Local Area

Taking a break in the Isle of Wight is the perfect way to enjoy this beautiful island’s family friendly resorts, lovely safe beaches and exciting leisure facilities.

As you’d expect from an island with 60 miles of beautiful, unspoilt coastline and famously sunny weather, you’ll find an excellent range of water sports and other thrilling activities.

The Isle of Wight is a favourite with sailors and deep sea anglers, but you can also try your hand at windsufing, jet skiing, sailplane flying and hang gliding. And the Blackgang Chine Fantasy Park or breathtaking chairlift rides at Needles Park offer plenty of adrenaline boosting fun.

Explore the island’s amazing prehistoric legacy at the Dinosaur Farm and Dinosaur Isle Museum or search out living wildlife at the zoo and at Parkhurst Forest, one of the few remaining habitats of the British red squirrel.

There’s lovely coastal and country walking and cycling too – the more energetic might like to follow the round island route.

It is always so relaxing on this site. The caravans are well placed for privacy, and with the cars having to go in the car park is a safe haven for children.

Location of campsite was perfect for travelling all over the Island. Children able to roam around on the playpark safely as no cars allowed. Camp staff were very friendly & helpful. As a single mum on holiday felt totally safe & secure. Thank you for a lovely week!

This site is perfectly placed for, what we believe to be, the best beach on the Isle of Wight - Duver Beach, St. Helens. The caravan was a very comfortable size in a lovely quiet location but with the added plus of being only a short distance to the lovely sheltered swimming pool and play area - not to mention the Games Room that was very popular with my 11 year old.

Field Lane proved a quiet well maintained site. The caravan was very clean and the site staff were excellent, attending to initial difficulties we had with the fire and the cooker. This was an excellent location with many local walks and resorts and attractions within easy reach.

Ideal if you are looking for a no frills family holiday, lots of kids stuff on the park.

Fabulous site, with great amenities for children but not too noisy so that you can still have a quiet and relaxing time. Very clean and accommodation was superb. Looking to book two weeks next year!

A lovely peaceful and car-less park which allows the children to have some freedom to roam and play. We felt this was in one of the nicest locations on the island, would definitely recommend.
