Taking a break in the Isle of Wight is the perfect way to enjoy this beautiful island’s family friendly resorts, lovely safe beaches and exciting leisure facilities.
As you’d expect from an island with 60 miles of beautiful, unspoilt coastline and famously sunny weather, you’ll find an excellent range of water sports and other thrilling activities.
The Isle of Wight is a favourite with sailors and deep sea anglers, but you can also try your hand at windsufing, jet skiing, sailplane flying and hang gliding. And the Blackgang Chine Fantasy Park or breathtaking chairlift rides at Needles Park offer plenty of adrenaline boosting fun.
Explore the island’s amazing prehistoric legacy at the Dinosaur Farm and Dinosaur Isle Museum or search out living wildlife at the zoo and at Parkhurst Forest, one of the few remaining habitats of the British red squirrel.
There’s lovely coastal and country walking and cycling too – the more energetic might like to follow the round island route.

| On our 2nd visit to Field Lane, standards had dipped very slightly from last year, which was a real shame. The caravan was not very clean at all with rubbish being left behind under our children's beds i.e used cotton buds, old sticky lollipop and other very unpleasant items. It was also a lot noisier and quite rowdy late at night as well. Last year was a lot better at Field Lane. My four sons really enjoyed the sports field and Adventure playground but there was some dog fouling evident on the field. Maybe we were just unlucky with the accomodation this year. Apart from Field Lane, Isle of Wight is a fabulous holiday destination and is highly recommended! |
